Why Choose Me for your Maryland Wedding Photographer?
Southern Maryland Wedding Photographer Serving DC & Northern Virginia
Your wedding isn’t about perfection it’s about connection, presence, and the way it feels to stand beside the person you chose.
Your wedding day deserves to be remembered with honesty, beauty, and intention. As a Southern Maryland wedding photographer, I document celebrations across Washington DC and Northern Virginia for couples who value refined, emotional imagery and an effortless experience. From the quiet anticipation before the ceremony to the energy of the dance floor, every moment is preserved in a way that feels natural, elegant, and undeniably you. Serving St. Mary's County, Calvert County, Charles County, and the greater DMV area, Jennifer brings the same calm, intentional approach to every celebration — from intimate backyard ceremonies to full ballroom receptions.
"We Truly Had an Unforgettable Experience"
"Jen & her team were so great to work with. We had a great phone call at the beginning to get to know her, and she was always available whenever we needed to run something by her. She was always willing to help, give advice and look into locations, permit info and provide vendor recommendations. Cannot recommend her and her team enough!"

How far in advance should we book our Maryland wedding photographer?
Most couples book 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates in Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia. Spring and fall Saturdays tend to book the fastest, so if you have your venue secured, it’s best to reach out as soon as possible to reserve your date.

Do you travel for weddings in Washington DC and Northern Virginia?
Yes. I photograph weddings throughout Southern Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia. Travel within these primary regions is included, and I’m always happy to discuss destination weddings as well.

How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?
During off-season months (November through February), wedding galleries are delivered within 8–10 weeks. During peak season, delivery is 10–12 weeks. You’ll also receive a small preview gallery within 3–4 days of your wedding so you have beautiful images to share right away.

Do your wedding packages include engagement sessions?
Many of my wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session. It’s one of the best ways for us to connect before your wedding day and create natural, authentic images that reflect your relationship. It also helps you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera before your big day.

What is the best time of year to get married in Southern Maryland?
Southern Maryland's most popular wedding months are May, June, September, and October, when the weather is mild and the Chesapeake Bay region is at its most beautiful. Fall weddings in particular offer stunning golden light and comfortable temperatures. I photograph weddings year-round and can help you plan around the best lighting and conditions for your chosen date.
