Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best time of year for a Smoky Mountain wedding?

Fall is the most popular season for Smoky Mountain weddings, with peak foliage typically occurring mid-October through early November. Spring offers misty mountain mornings and wildflowers. Summer is lush and green but can be busy in the national park. Winter elopements with snow-dusted peaks are breathtaking and surprisingly intimate.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐  An Absolute Dream Photographer!

Choosing Jennifer Mummert for our elopement at Fall Creek Falls was the best decision we made. From the very beginning, she was incredibly supportive and helped us navigate everything with ease. Jennifer is so much more than just a photographer—she is a true adventure guide.

She and her assistant went completely above and beyond, hiking out to remote, breathtaking locations with all of their equipment just to get the perfect shots. On the day of our wedding, she made us feel completely comfortable, relaxed, and natural in front of the camera. To top it all off, the fast delivery of our sneak peek pictures made sharing the exciting news on social media fast and easy!

Jennifer captured the stunning scenery of Fall Creek Falls perfectly, but more importantly, she captured the raw emotion and magic of our day. The final photos blew us away. The lighting, the composition, and the moments she caught are absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for an adventure elopement photographer who will hike the extra mile to make your day unforgettable, look no further!

“Jennifer made our wedding day even more magical! She arrived early, stayed a little later to make sure all of our big moments were captured, even after we got a little behind due to some technical difficulties with our venue. She went out of her way to make us feel like we were the most important people before, during and after our wedding day”
