Well, I’m glad you asked! A mini session is basically a smaller version of our usual portrait sessions, hence the “mini” ? There are some key differences though, let me break it down for you.

Session Length: Mini sessions typically last up to 15 minutes, all shot in one spot/background.

Time & Location: We’ll choose the location beforehand, and you’ll sign up for a specific time slot.

Planning: While we’ll provide some tips on wardrobe selection, since there’s no pre-session consultation, most of the planning is up to you.

Number of Images: With a shorter session, you’ll have fewer images to choose from, usually around 30.

Ordering & Products: You’ll view and order your images online through a personal web gallery. We offer three digital image packages, plus various other products.

Session Fee: There isn’t one! You only pay for the package you choose. The base 5 image package (unless the mini session details state otherwise) is included in your booking deposit, and you can upgrade to more images if you’d like.

Who is a Mini Session Good For?

There are many reasons why a mini session might be perfect for your family:

• If you have energetic kids and worry about a full session.
• If you’re new to working with us and want to give us a try.

After your session, we’ll post your edited images to a web gallery. From there, you can choose the digital image package (unless a mini session indicates otherwise) that suits you best, along with any additional prints or products:

• 5 Digital Image Package: $149 (paid at booking as your session deposit)
• 10 Digital Image Package: Upgrade for just $106 more
• All Digital Images Package (most popular and best value!): Upgrade for just $170 more
